Grantham University and EANGUS Offer CSM Virgil R. Williams Scholarship for Member of the National Guard Community

Grantham University, a 60 year old institution delivering accredited online degrees to working adult students around the world, has joined together with the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) to provide a fully funded scholarship to a deserving member of the National Guard Enlisted community. The CSM Virgil R. Williams Scholarship, valued at $ 36,000, covers tuition, required textbooks, software, and fees for an undergraduate or graduate degree at Grantham University.

“Grantham University and EANGUS have a shared mission to improve the lives and careers of National Guard enlisted Soldiers and Airmen,” said Dr. Fredrick Snow, president of Grantham University. “We are both passionate about promoting the importance and benefits of education to our nation’s service members and veterans,”

Interested applicants must meet the minimum scholarship eligibility requirements. Eligibility requirements and the online application for the CSM Virgil R. Williams Scholarship can be found on the Grantham University Web site. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight Eastern Time on June 1, 2011. EANGUS will announce the scholarship recipient at its 2011 Annual Conference in August.

In addition to the annual scholarship, members of EANGUS and their families can take advantage of a special tuition grant at Grantham University that includes a Textbook and Software Grant which covers the cost of required textbooks and software.
